LAKE OCONEE ACADEMY ANNOUNCES ANNUAL FUNDRAISER DENIM & DIAMONDS IS BACK & SET FOR APRIL 22, 2023
Lake Oconee Academy (LOA) and the Lake Oconee Academy Foundation (LOAF) is committed to bringing their best each day to make an impact in the lives of LOA students. They invite YOU to "Bring YOUR Best" at this year's Annual Denim & Diamonds Charity Fundraiser! Save the date - Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Collins Farm. Attendees will enjoy dinner, dancing, a silent and live auction, live entertainment by the band Haywire, and more! Get ready for Fun, Music, Community, and Giving with all proceeds benefitting the Lake Oconee Academy Foundation. More details about this exciting event will be released soon!
LOAF is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of every LOA student. As the school population continues to grow, the mission of the LOAF is to support this growth through new classroom buildings, fine arts programming, scholarship opportunities, and everything in between to enhance the educational experience. In previous years, LOAF has raised funds to provide LOA students with 6,000+ library books, a piano lab, equipment for broadcasting, technology, band/musical theatre licenses, costumes, technology, athletic equipment, an upper elementary playground, visual arts supplies for honors and AP programs, travel scholarships for international study programs, new athletic fields, and most recently, the completion of a new fine arts building.
Tickets for this year’s Denim & Diamonds Fundraiser can be purchased individually for $150 per person. In addition, reserved tables and sponsorships are available. If you are unable to attend, please consider donating a ticket to a deserving LOA staff member. You can also participate in the silent auction online, even if you do not attend the event.
